Economic Impact of the Arts Study Results
According to the recent Americans for the Arts study, the $20.7 million in spending by West Hollywood based nonprofit arts and culture organizations and an additional $8.5 million in event-related spending by their audiences supports 776 full-time equivalent jobs, generates $24.5 million in household income to local residents, and delivers $2.8 million in local and state government revenue!

The exhibition features seven sculptures by world-renowned artists such as Lita Albuquerque, Charles Arnoldi, Brad Howe, David Buckingham, Michael Kalish, and Guy Dill. AMANDA ROSS-HO: TEENY TINY WOMAN evolves her continued interest in translation, scale, and the authored collapse of authentic gesture and performance. Her work interrogates intimate territories of experience, toggling between the context of production and the context of reception, to create an infinite loop of meaning. World-renowned photographer Michael Childers' exhibition AUTHOR, AUTHOR will be on view at the West Hollywood Public Library. The unique survey features a photo retrospective of over 40 intimate and original portraits of writers, screenwriters and playwrights taken by Childers from the 1960s through today. This particular show will also include never before seen portraits taken in New York City in 2011 and 2012. A special fundraiser reception and lecture with Childers will occur on Thursday, September 27th at 6:30 p.m. which benefits the West Hollywood Library Fund.
