Economic Impact of the Arts Study Results
According to the recent Americans for the Arts study, the $20.7 million in spending by West Hollywood based nonprofit arts and culture organizations and an additional $8.5 million in event-related spending by their audiences supports 776 full-time equivalent jobs, generates $24.5 million in household income to local residents, and delivers $2.8 million in local and state government revenue!

Support INSTALL:WeHo by attending their fundraiser at ONE National Gay and Lesbian Gallery for a night of wine, queer art, and the opportunity to learn more about the project. The interactive exhibit is part Burning Man, part exhibition, and all around queer madness. Los Angeles' most inspired young artists come together for a City-wide celebration in this pop-up art and performance festival where U-Hauls transform into galleries and Queer hipsters get their art groove on in a converted parking lot. Sunset Strip Music Festival

Music Venues on Sunset Boulevard

Sunset Strip will honor The Doors as the official honorees of the fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival. This year's events features live performance at five music venues (House of Blues, Whiskey A-Go-Go, The Roxy, Key Club, Viper Room). On Friday, August 17th at 7 p.m., SSMF will also host a free outdoor acoustic stage on 8950 Sunset Blvd. KCRW DJ Valida curated the programming featuring performances by The Record Company, The Peach Kings, Races, and Trevor Menear. The play is adapted and directed by Tony Tanner, Tony-nominated as Best Director and Best Choreographer for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Tanner directs his upbeat, 90-minute musical adaption of Shakespeare's timeless comedy.

With the support of the City of West Hollywood, ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives, and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, this pop-up installation will serve as a forum to bring both established and emerging LGBTQ artists and contributors together. INSTALL: WeHo will appear overnight as a caravan of U-Haul trucks in the El Tovar parking lot, adjacent to the West Hollywood Library.
