Economic Impact of the Arts Study Results
According to the recent Americans for the Arts study, the $20.7 million in spending by West Hollywood based nonprofit arts and culture organizations and an additional $8.5 million in event-related spending by their audiences supports 776 full-time equivalent jobs, generates $24.5 million in household income to local residents, and delivers $2.8 million in local and state government revenue!

Sunset Strip will honor The Doors as the official honorees of the fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival.

The City of West Hollywood and The Classical Theatre Lab present SOMETHING OF SILVER, a musical version of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. The play is adapted and directed by Tony Tanner, Tony-nominated as Best Director and Best Choreographer for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." INSTALL: WeHo is an interactive exhibition, to be held September 16, 2012, showcasing the curated work of LGBTQ-minded artists in the Greater Los Angeles community. With the support of the City of West Hollywood, ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives, and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, this pop-up installation will serve as a forum to bring both established and emerging LGBTQ artists and contributors together.
INSTALL: WeHo will appear overnight as a caravan of U-Haul trucks in the El Tovar parking lot, adjacent to the West Hollywood Library.
