Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra at Plummer Park

West Hollywood, California (November 12, 2009) - The City of West Hollywood’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission will host the Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 3 p.m. in Fiesta Hall at Plummer Park, 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard.

The event is sponsored in part by a grant from the City of West Hollywood Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.

The Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra will be led by music director, Ivan Shulman with Sam Fischer, violin soloist performing the world premiere of the Serenade for Violin and Orchestra by noted local composer, Andrew Feazelle.

Also performed will be the Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso by Saint-Saens, Wagner’s Overture to “Der Meistersinger von Nurgerg” as well as Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, “Winter Daydreams.”

Admission is free, however donations are appreciated.
