West Hollywood, California (November 9, 2009) - Sharing greetings with friends and loved ones can be simple and rewarding this holiday season by purchasing exclusive new Holiday Cards from The Saban Free Clinic. Assorted Hearts is one offering by Saban Free Clinic. WeHo News. |
Proceeds from the sales of the Holiday Cards directly support the critically needed services of the Clinic.
Amid a somber economic climate and climbing unemployment rate, an increasing number of Los Angeles County residents are turning to the Clinic for medical, dental and behavioral health care services.
In the most recent completed fiscal year, the Clinic provided nearly 90,000 visits for more than 21,000 men, women and children who have nowhere else to turn.
“Sending holiday cards is a simple and efficient way to share the spirit of the season with friends, family members and business associates, while also supporting the vital work of the Clinic,” said Clinic Co-CEO Abbe Land.

“We are counting on creative fund-raising campaigns like the Holiday Card Program to help sustain our level of care as other sources of revenue continue to be affected by the economy,.” said Ms. Land, who also serves as Mayor of West Hollywood this year.
Steven Afriat, Curtis Sanchez and the Afriat Consulting Group, longtime supporters of the Clinic’s mission, have again underwritten the 2009 Holiday Card Program.
Local artists Kris Cahill, Jennifer Miller and Bobbie Rich each donated vibrant and uplifting designs featured on the four cards, which can be purchased individually or in larger quantities.
Both printed and customized greetings are available, and the Clinic will sign, address, hand-stamp and mail your cards to addresses you provide.
