WeHo News Media Kit

West Hollywood, CA

WeHoNews.com - West Hollywood's ONLY Newspaper, ONLY ONLINE!

We are more than a simple newspaper; we are ONLY ONLINE, so we act as the West Hollywood’s Public Square – that place where all people come to exchange goods, services and ideas.

A screen shot of the disparate places around the globe that our readers live and work. Data from StatCounter WeHo News.

Because of our virtual monopoly on local news (even the LA Times uses WeHo News – click here for one recent example - and so, too, does the LA Weekly) and because WeHo News provides residents and business owners a soapbox to stand atop in that Public Square, we enjoy an intensely loyal readership.

We deliver our cyber newspaper on Mondays and Thursdays to 1,900 subscribers ( click here to subscribe for free delivery).

Currently 14,000+ readers visit our site per week.

They read 45-48,000 pages a week (2 million per year)

Our readers are wealthier, better educated and skew a bit older than most popular publications boast.

Earning power: 22% earn over $75,000 per year | 33% make between $35,000 and $75,000 annually

Education: Over 60% have either some college or at least one degree. One in six (16%) have graduate degree

Age range: ages 25-44 (52%) | between 45 and 64 (25%) | older than 64 (18%)

This chart shows our consistent growth over the past year. Data from Site Analytics. WeHo News.

Location: While we are a local publication, WeHo News Acts as the World's Window Into West Hollywood. We have a Bi-coastal & International following. (Data and map available upon request).

Advertiser Testimonials

Pat Rogers, owner of Here Lounge and business license commissioner for the City of West Hollywood, told us he appreciated our balanced news coverage about the city.

"You'll have my support as long as you continue to do balanced reporting," he promised.

Spunky Books, a small WeHo-based Gay Book publishing house, couldn’t believe the response he got from his ads. “We got several calls right after the ad went up,” Robert Reincke, the firm’s founder, said. “We were very impressed.”

Faith Plating came to us with a singular problem – their 90 year-old business had been perceived as a toxic waste site and locals took their household plating business to other, smaller, storefronts.

As soon as they placed their ad stressing their recycling efforts and household plating opportunities, their foot traffic increased.

Says Judy, our liaison at Faith Plating, “I went down to talk to our service guys, and they said foot traffic was way up and we’re doing a lot more smaller plating jobs.”

WeHoNews.com is a proud member of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. We extend a Chamber courtesy discount to all members.
